In short: Fajrlock has no account and no server. Your alarms, tags and history stay on your phone, and we never receive them. The only data that leaves your device is what Google’s advertising service uses to show ads. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, ads load only after you have made a choice in Google’s consent message.

What stays on your device
Fajrlock stores the following in its private storage on your phone. It is not sent to us, and we have no way to see it.
- Your alarm time and alarm settings.
- The barcodes and NFC tags you register to stop the alarm. Only the code value or tag identifier is saved, never an image.
- Your history of mornings and streaks.
- Your app preferences, such as language.
This data is deleted when you clear the app’s data in Android settings or uninstall the app.
Camera
The camera is used only while the scanning screen is open, to read the barcode that stops your alarm. The image is processed on your device the moment it is captured. No photo or video is saved or sent anywhere.
NFC
If you choose to use an NFC tag, Fajrlock reads the tag’s identifier when you hold it to your phone, and compares it with the tag you registered. The identifier is stored only on your device.
Advertising
Fajrlock is free because it shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may collect and use the following to serve ads, measure them and prevent fraud:
- your device’s advertising identifier;
- your IP address, and an approximate location derived from it;
- information about your device and the app, such as model, operating system and language;
- how you interact with ads.
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, Google’s consent message appears before any ad is requested. You decide there whether ads may be personalised. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy options in Fajrlock’s settings. On any device, you can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android’s settings.

Permissions
Every permission Fajrlock asks for, and why, is listed on the Fajrlock page. You can revoke any of them in Android settings, although the alarm may then not work as intended.
Legal basis
Data kept on your device is not processed by us. Where the GDPR applies, advertising data is processed on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the privacy options described above. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before.
Children
Fajrlock is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Because we hold no data about you, requests about advertising data are handled by Google, but we are happy to help. Email admin@aividect.com.
If you are unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be) or to the supervisory authority where you live.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. If a change materially affects how your data is handled, we will also say so in the app.
