Byndra

Your screen. Your boundaries.

Choose which apps Byndra checks. Explicit or suggestive images are analyzed on your Android phone and blurred when detected. Clear status and recovery steps help you understand when protection is available. Some content can remain visible and ordinary images can be blurred.

Coming soonAndroid

What it does

  1. Choose your apps first

Review and select installed apps during onboarding, before granting permissions. Change your choices in the app.

  2. Image checks on your phone

Screen images are analyzed in memory and are not saved or uploaded by Byndra. Local settings and activity stay on the device.

  3. Clear protection status

Home distinguishes ready, checking, paused and stopped protection, with steps to restore screen sharing when needed.

  4. Local controls

For adults and teenagers aged 13 and older. Choose filtering levels and optional PIN or recovery controls. No filter or tamper protection can prevent every unwanted image or Android workaround.

  5. Understand the limits

Protected windows may be unavailable for analysis. Images can appear before a check, and Android can end a sharing session.

Permissions, explained

Accessibility serviceIdentifies the foreground app, notices scrolling, reads image bounds and draws blur. Supported devices can use temporary window screenshots. Blocking and optional Family tamper protection can send screens home and inspect settings-screen text, as explained before setup.
Screen sharingLets Android provide frames for local image checks. Whole-screen sharing can include anything visible; one-app sharing limits the session where supported. Byndra does not save a recording.
NotificationsShows running protection and permitted recovery reminders.
Foreground serviceRuns the user-started screen-sharing session; Android can stop it.
Installed appsLists supported installed apps locally so you can choose what to check.
Subscription connectionWhen subscriptions are enabled, Google Play handles payment and RevenueCat processes purchase history, an anonymous identifier and technical connection data. Screen images and filtering activity are not sent. Payments and verification are not enabled in the current version.
